The ERA SHUTTLE project will set up temporary work/experience placements (known as secondments) of research and innovation (R&I) for talents (accepted applicants) between academia and non-academic partners. These placements will promote skill development and provide opportunities for international experiences and collaborations. The approved secondments will be customised to meet the talents’ specific needs when drawing out their secondment plan and career development plan, focusing on improving their transferable, entrepreneurial, and research skills. Additionally, the project will include capacity-building activities such as training and workshops and career tandems to support R&I development in the ERA and widening countries and at the same time exchange and support each other through paired talents. These activities will be monitored and evaluated to ensure they contribute to the project’s overall goals and align with the strategic objectives of the Framework program.

Non-academic project partners will welcome secondees for the following opportunities:

Steinbeis Wissens Und Technologietransfer GMBH (SWiTT) will be contributing to the project with their expertise in technology transfer, innovation management, entrepreneurship and knowledge valorisation, supporting the project’s cross-sectoral collaboration and talent circulation.

Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CERIC-ERIC) is integrating and providing open access to some of the most advanced analytical facilities in Europe to help science and industry advance in the fields of materials, biomaterials, and nanotechnology.

Association of European Science & Technology Transfer Professionals (ASTP) brings expertise in science and technology transfer, supporting the project’s objectives related to cross-sectoral collaboration and knowledge valorisation.
